I know it is not the cylinders because they have been rebuilt and pressure tested. I will look into the cost of a new valve body and if that gives me a heart attack, I will try to rebuild the old one.

Sep 23, 2008 · I think my control valve went out on my FEL. The Front Loader raises and lowers, but the bucket control portion of the 4 way control valve won't control the bucket. The joystick moves into position to tip the bucket just like it should but the bucket just sort of "kicks" and does nothing. I checked all the hoses, couplings, etc. No leaks.

May 02, 2017 · My LA463 front end loader control valve must have either a stuck spring, or a broken spring. When the control lever is moved to the left, it will not return to neutral by itself----either with hydraulics pressured up or dead. The schematic suggests that it is the upper spring that is stuck in a compressed mode.

Aug 18, 2008 · Check to see if all of your levers and control valves are centered. Once in a while there will be one that doesn't completely center and it will mess everything up. Most control valves don't have a lot that can be changed or rebuilt in them. They usually consist of o-rings on the ends of the spools and maybe a change or setting of the relief valve.
